Community Health Lab for Nursing
Community Health Nursing Lab Models, The College has a distinct Community Health Nursing lab, 900 square feet in size, with all the necessary equipment for students to learn about the community situation and to practice fundamental nursing operations that will be conducted in community settings. We provide a variety of AV Aids to help students prepare for Community Health Nursing Practice.
This lab allows students to study home visiting utilizing the bag approach and practice community health nursing while giving family health care at their door step using modified home visiting kits and learning to treat patients in their home environment with minimal amenities. The lab is outfitted with a range of audiovisual materials to engage students and conduct health education in the community. One part of the lab is set up like a residence.
Our community lab provides an informative and illuminating clinical experience for students while also promoting student empowerment. Prior to performing in the community to reach their aims, numerous methods are demonstrated. It also improves problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Demonstrations enhance learning by making it more realistic and authentic.

The Community Health Nursing Laboratory assists students in developing desirable knowledge and attitudes about providing holistic care to individuals, families, and communities. The laboratory is outfitted with community bags and items for executing various operations such as illness screening and minor ailment care in urban and rural regions. The laboratory has models of the perfect home, ideal community, several types of wells, latrines, water purification technologies, and so on. In the laboratory, family papers for home visits are kept. Students use audio visual aids from the laboratory, such as puppets, charts, flash cards, posters, booklets, and a video player, to conduct school health programs, mass health education programs, and other public awareness programs.
